Fireboy & Watergirl 7 retains the familiar gameplay style: two characters, a level filled with switches, traps, and interwoven paths. However, this version feels a bit faster and more chaotic, especially when dealing with both simultaneously.
The game's strength lies in the fact that you can't play "alone." Sometimes Fireboy clears the way for Watergirl, other times it's the other way around. If you don't coordinate properly, you can easily get stuck, or worse, fail completely.

You control Fireboy and Watergirl to move through the levels.
Fireboy walks through fire, but dies if he touches water.
Watergirl does the opposite: she walks through water, avoiding fire.
The two characters must cooperate to flip switches, open doors, and overcome obstacles. Sometimes they need to maintain each other's position, and sometimes they need to move almost simultaneously.
The goal is to get both to the safe exit.
Don't try to control both characters at once
Handle each character one at a time before switching to the other; it's less confusing.
Observe before moving
Look at the entire screen to know what to do, avoiding mistakes and having to go back.
Coordinate in order
Some levels require Fireboy to go first, others require Watergirl to lead the way.
Keep a safe position
When not controlling, keep your character in a secure place to avoid traps.
Playing with a friend is easier
This game is best played with one character per person.
Fireboy & Watergirl 7 isn't too difficult to understand, but to play smoothly you need practice and good coordination. Passing a difficult level where both characters enter the door at the same time is quite satisfying.
